What is heart?
A flesh in the body. If it’s good, then the whole body is
good. If it’s rotten, then the whole body is rotten.
With love, come obedience.
Whatever you love will be your master.
Hawa= desire.
Physical pressure, by movies & advertisement – if you
feel good, then that’s good. As long as you’re happy and you’re feeling good, you’ll
do it even though it might hurt others. That’s a desire.
- What do I think about most? Through out my days, what’s occupying my mind? And what keeps me up all night?
- Last time you cried, what was it about? Last time you get really angry, what trigger that? What do you most afraid of, afraid of losing?
I’m saying something with my tongue but I’m not saying it
with my heart.
I'm saying I'm do it for Allah's sake. But inside my heart, I didn't even mean it. I said it with my tongue, but I didn't feel it in my heart.

Problems of the heart:
- Ego
If it’s really for the sake of Allah, you wouldn't feel
offended.
- The heart becomes hardened
Arrogance. If there was sincerity in you, you wouldn't talk
about it to somebody else. You would talk about it to themselves if you were going to advise them.
Remedies:
Hopes in Allah.
If Allah can bring life out of death, He can bring life to
your heart again. You can get your heart cleanse.
- Remember Allah.
Not enough with dhikr. But if they’re thoughtless, no
reflections during dhikr, then there’s no point to it.
You should be uncomfortable with praise. I don’t need your praises, I need your dua’. With praises, our ego increases. When someone offends us, it’s a good sign to lower down our ego.

Keep a balance. Take it easy. Keep it gradual. You’re gonna get burn out.
Change your attitudes. Change your intentions.
So what if there’s only a few people? Let it in Allah’s hand. Do I do my part? Is my intention for Allah? If yes, then, there’s no problems in it. The intention can get rusty, so you have to keep going back and fixing it.
They’re only see the outside. What don’t they see, the inside. Our egos, they don't see them. They can't change that. It depends on us.
- Find better company than yourselves.
- Learn to keep your mouth shut.
Find a humble way to say/give advice.
You want to change their heart first, not their behavior You can’t change it, you can only pray to Allah to change their heart.
Who benefit it first? The reminder, me.
If not, there’s something wrong in me. Maybe I could have said
it better.
Syura (42) ; they didn’t disagree w e/o until after knowledge
came.
Why do they disagree? Because they have the urge to dominate!
Al-Imran ; by the favour and mercy of Allah, that you
(Muhammad) are lenient towards sahabah. If
not, they’re going to run away.
Forgive them and ask Allah to forgive them (in private- that’s
sincere).
Allah is the key of success, not your decisions.
Is it…
I’m gonna use my efforts, and the decision is on me.
Or …
I’m not gonna do anything, and leave the rest to Allah.
Or..
I’m gonna use my efforts as much as I can, and leave the
rest (the decision) to Allah.
